MECTON ENERGY PLUS provides regular scheduled IRATA formal training courses for the internationally recognized IRATA Levels 1, 2 & 3 as per IRATA training syllabus/scheme within our State of the Art purpose-built dedicated training facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India by our professional and knowledgeable team of Level 3Ts.
Our Trainers are qualified to the highest industry standards, multilingual, and provide dedicated instruction for IRATA Level I, IRATA Level II, and IRATA Level III candidates. We provide to use the most comprehensive range of industrial rope access equipment and experience the advantage of full height exposure. Assessments shall be performed by independently external IRATA certified assessors.
What is IRATA?
The purpose of IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) is to ensure that any rope access work done by IRATA members is carried out in a safe and high-quality manner. IRATA members are required to abide by a Code of Ethics and are subject to a strict audit by independent, qualified inspectors to ensure that all of the Association’s requirements of Quality Assurance, Safety, Training, and Working Practices are being met. IRATA provides a verifiable and internationally respected Industrial Rope Access qualification system.

Falling from heights continued to be the biggest killer in workplaces and 90% of such accidents can be prevented. Throughout the years, many workers have died or suffered serious injury as a result of falling from height at workplaces. All industries are exposed to the risks presented by falling hazard although the level of incidence varies considerably.
MECTON ENERGY PLUS have developed each course with the clients requirements in mind, to this end we have further developed Emergency First Aid at Height to complement the problems encountered with working at height.

The Training program is the right combination of method’s theory and its practical applications, conducted in an interactive environment and with extensive practical training in numerous collections of real-size practice specimens.

TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION SCHEME
This is a Rope Access technician who is able to perform a specified range of rope access tasks under the supervision of Level 3.
TRAINING SYLLABUS
A level 1 Rope Access technician shall be capable of performing a limited range of rope access tasks required by his or her employers, under the supervision of an IRATA level 3 rope access technician. He/she is Responsible for inspections of all his/her own personal rope access equipment able to assist in rigging and non-standard operations, under the guidance of a higher grade able to undertake a rescue involving descent by him/herself and have a knowledge of hauling systems.
DURATION
5 Days Training and 1 Day Assessment
TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION SCHEME
This is an Experienced Rope Access technician who has Level 1 skills plus more complex rigging, rescue and rope access skills, under the supervision of a Level 3.
TRAINING SYLLABUS
A level 2 Rope Access technician shall be capable of rigging working ropes, undertaking rescues and performing rope access tasks (under the supervision of an IRATA level 3 rope access technician). Â He/she should have some knowledge of legislation, safety requirements and quality assurance procedures relating to rope access.
PRE REQUISITE
Minimum of 1000 hours and at least 1 year experience as Valid current Level 1. Advanced training where the emphasis is placed on ‘rigging’ and rescue techniques. An operator level 2 works at all times under supervision of a responsible level 3.
To sign a medical declaration form prior to the commencement of training.
DURATION
5 Days Training and 1 Day Assessment
TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION SCHEME
This is a rope access technician who is capable of complete responsibility for rope access safety in work projects. Able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of Levels 1 and 2. Conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation.
An Extensive knowledge of advanced rigging and rescue techniques. Holds an appropriate and current first aid certificate and has knowledge of the IRATA International certification scheme.
TRAINING SYLLABUS
A level 3 Rope Access technician shall be capable of site supervision for rope access work projects be conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of levels 1 and 2.
Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques; Hold an appropriate current first aid certificate, to show that suitable emergency first aid training has been undertaken Have knowledge of the IRATA certification scheme; Have knowledge of the IRATA General requirements Be familiar with the contents of the IRATA ICOP.
PRE REQUISITE
Minimum of 1000 hours and at least 1 year experience as Valid current Level 2. First aid certificate. Specialized training where the emphasis is placed on complex rescue operations, alternative rigging, responsibility and insight in working situations.

DURATION
5 Days Training and 1 Day Assessment
We offer IRATA Revalidation course that brings technicians up to date with current equipment, technique, and legislation. The course includes valuable additional skills over and above the IRATA syllabus to help you work safely and efficiently in the industry. On successful completion and registration following an IRATA training course, the trainee will receive an IRATA logbook, Identification card, and Certificate valid for 3 Years.
Our Training venue is close to Coimbatore International Airport and also near to railways and roadway stations. There is ample parking space at the training center. You can plan your route from our Map link. There are many reasonably priced hotels and guest houses in the area which can be arranged on request. Tea, coffee, and snacks are available together with full welfare facilities. There are many cafes within a short distance. Course booking will be “First Come and First Serve” basis. Book as early as to reserve your preferred course dates.
